“Tough draw” for Llanfair

Llanfair United face a tough trip to Conwy Borough in the last 16 of the FAW Trophy following their extra time round four heroics on Saturday.

Conwy are currently second in the Welsh Alliance League, two points behind Llangefni Town but with two games in hand.

And Llanfair acknowledge that they will be the underdogs heading north but travel in good spirits following their extra time 3-2 win over Corwen.

The club said on Twitter: “Tough draw away to Conwy Borough FC in next round of the FA Wales Trophy. Enjoyed our trips there last couple of seasons. Proper football ground and always a warm welcome.”

The game will be played on January 13.
