Guilsfield and Llanrhaeadr are looking to spring a surprise this weekend when they take on Welsh Premier opposition in the JD Welsh Cup, third round.
In one of the most mouthwatering ties of the round, Guilsfield head to Montgomeryshire rivals Newtown who have been in indifferent form this season.
Guilsfield are currently fourth in the Huws Gray Alliance, while Newtown are looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Aberystwyth Town.
Llanrhaeadr, meanwhile, host Cefn Druids who have been in decent form in the top flight, but the final Spar Mid Wales League representatives are confident that home advantage can make for an uncomfortable afternoon for the visitors.
The weekend gets underway tonight with Berriew hosting Llanidloes in the Mid Wales League, which sees leaders Welshpool Town host Llandrindod Wells on Saturday.
In the Amateur League, there is a mix of league and cup action this weekend.
The weather is expected to be cold so please check with your local club before travelling as fixtures can also change.
