Recognising success

Welshpool ladies golf section have celebrated the successes of the year at their presentation evening.

They successfully retained the Mid Wales handicap league title, beating Cradoc in the final held at Builth Wells.

On the Ladies Captain’s day held in August they raised £610 for Hope House from a raffle and auction.

Ellen Jones, Captain, now has taken over the Captaincy of Mid Wales County Golf Association and Margaret Bowen also from Welshpool takes office as the Vice-Captain.
