Forden and Four Crosses face away days for the quarter-finals of the Emrys Morgan Cup after dramatic victories at the weekend.
Forden United won 2-1 at Dewi Stars while Crosses eased passed Honda One title rivals Bishop’s Castle 4-0 and will now go to Newcastle-on-Clun and Tregaron Turfs respectively.
Unfortunately there was no way through for Newtown Wanderers or Llanrhaeadr Reserves.
In the league, Llangedwyn took a huge step towards returning to the top flight of amateur football after a crushing 6-2 win at the weekend.
The villagers went 12 points clear at the top of Mitsubishi Two with their win at Churchstoke Reserves, but their main challengers Forden have five games in hand.
In the Honda One, there were wins for Llanfyllin Town and Waterloo Rovers.
Maesyrhandir carried their decent form into the League Cup, beating Abermule Reserves 5-2 for a place in the second round.
