Welsh Premier side Bala Town and a team of past club legends will all be part of a historic day as football returns home to Llanrhaeadr on July 13.
The club managed to retain its Huws Gray Alliance status last season in style despite having to play home games at Llansantffraid due to their ground not meeting the required FAW standards.
But all that has changed thanks to some determined graft behind the scenes to build a new stand and prepare the village for another season in the second tier of Welsh football.
“It’s a big day for the club hosting a Welsh Premier side so a big thanks to Bala for coming over,” said Chairman, Mel Roberts.
“We want to make the day a celebration of our history. Calling all former players to come along and join in. The year away at Treflan has been hard but well worth it. We now have a ground that we can be proud of.”
The first team will take on Bala at 2pm, followed by the stars of yesteryear, featuring the likes of Simon Edwards and Jamie Davies, taking on the reserve side at 4.30pm.
