Local football matches are set to be cancelled this weekend due to a shortage of officials, we can reveal.
Clubs in the amateur league were informed this week that games were under threat, and until more officials are recruited, this is likely to become the norm.
Meanwhile, at the top of the ladder, Newtown travel to Cardiff Met tonight still unbeaten after three matches in the JD Cymru Premier.
Also tonight, Welshpool Town take on Berriew in the MMP Mid Wales League Division One while Forden United head south in search of points in Division Two.
There’s a wealth of local league and Welsh Cup qualifying round action tomorrow, but due to the shortage of referees, please check with your club before travelling.
One match certain to go ahead though is a mouthwatering local derby between Guuilsfield and Llanfair United in the JD Cymru North, while Llanrhaeadr host Gresford Athletic.
