Disappointing day for local clubs
It was a dark day for local clubs with all four of our most senior sides suffering defeats.
Newtown were beaten at home 3-2 by Barry Town in the JD Cymru Premier, while Guilsfield, Llanfair United and Llanrhaeadr were all beaten on the road in the JD Cymru North.
It was full programme of cup action in the MMP Mid Wales League with the biggest shock seeing Machynlleth beating Carno, while high flying division two side Waterloo Rovers also beat division one opposition in Llansantffraid Village.
