Clubs across the area are involved in the Welsh Cup this weekend which sees the local JD Cymru North sides join the action at the first round proper.
Caersws, Montgomery Town, Four Crosses, Llanidloes Town and Waterloo Rovers are all involved from the Mid Wales League after coming through qualifiers, while Guilsfield, Llanrhaeadr and Llanfair United start their campaigns.
Newtown travel to Airbus in the JD Cymru Premier, while Berriew and Welshpool Town will be hoping to make ground on the leaders in the MMP Mid Wales League.
