Clubs hit the road for Welsh Cup glory

08/11/2019 @ 01:24

Guilsfield, Llanfair United and Llanidloes Town all hit the road on Saturday in search of places in the third round of the JD Welsh Cup.

Llanfair United head to Llandudno, but Guilsfield and Llanidloes Town head to the relative unknown of Llaneffydd and Abertillery Bluebirds hoping that wins will take them into round three where the JD Cymru Premier sides join the draw.

Meanwhile, the weekend action kicks off tonight with Newtown and Welshpool Town both at home and Waterloo Rovers heading to Machynlleth.

Saturday sees a mix of league and cup action but with the weather set to be unpredictable once again, please check with your local club before travelling.
