Rob makes the 2020 FIFA list

The Football Association of Wales has been informed that its nominees for the 2020 FIFA Refereeing International List has been accepted and confirmed by world football’s governing body.

It includes Guilsfield’s fast emerging referee Rob Jenkins who took charge of an A international match in Ireland last month for the first time.

Phil Thomas, FAW Referees Manager, said: “I’d like to congratulate all those officials who have made it onto the FIFA Referee Internationals List for 2020.

“Becoming a FIFA match official is the pinnacle of their career and allows them to be appointed to international, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League fixtures.”
