Pool lose again after leading

Welshpool Town’s habit of losing games after being ahead continued at Machynlleth last night.

Pool were two goals ahead inside 16 minutes through brothers Ryan and Adam Knott but lost 4-2 in the Lock Stock Ardal North East League.

Richard Evans gave Mach some hope with a 35^th minute goal and it wasn’t until the 80^th minute that Callum Page levelled.

Machynlleth then scored twice in the last four minutes through Page again and substitute Daniel Roberts with the game finishing in controversial style with a red card for Adam Knott and a yellow card for Pool Manager Russell Cadwallader.

Llansantffraid crushed struggling Newtown Wanderers 7-1 in the MMP Mid Wales League East with goals from Ryan Broadbent (3), Keiran Evans (2) and Nathan Prodger.
