Silver medals for Berriew team

A Berriew Bowling Club team has finished runners-up in the British Isles Fours Championships held at Llandrindod Wells.

The team of four were representing Wales but lost narrowly in an exciting final to Scotland to secure silver medals, having convincingly beaten Ireland in the semi-final.

This is the second time that Berriew have won a silver medal in the fours in the last two British Isles series.
