Cricket Club celebrates the season
The main winner of the evening was Sam Cadwallader, who picked up the player of the year, young player of the year and batting performance of the year after scoring 600 runs for the 1st XI.
Rob Anderson’s 38 wickets won the bowling award with Will Gannon the most improved player.
Rhys Roberts’s outstanding contribution to the running of the club was recognised with the clubman of the year award, with Daniel Cadwallader picking up the young club person of the year.
The newly-formed ladies’ section was also celebrated. Kat Parkes was their player of the year, with Darcie Kinsey the most improved.
Patrick Davies received the award for most runs in the 2nd XI with Joe Cadwallader and Jake Evans taking the most wickets.
