Club celebrates players on North Powys duty

Welshpool Town’s U13 team has celebrated four girls who were members of successful interleague teams at the weekend.

The four girls play in a mixed team alongside the boys for Welshpool, but were in action at the weekend in Aberystwyth at the Central Wales All Girls Interleague tournament.

Cerys Roberts and Lwsi Stafford (top picture) were members of the North Powys team that won the U16 title, while Rosie Pritchard was a part of the North Powys A U14 winning team, with Ava May being a part of the B team, who took second (below).

“​We are so proud to have these talented players representing Welshpool Town U13s,” said coach Mark Roberts. “What a fantastic achievement for the girls and the club.”
