Tennis set for Welshpool return

Tennis is back on the sporting agenda in Welshpool after the high school confirmed it will be opening up its courts from today.

In a bid to connect with the community, the high school opened brought tennis back to the town’s public for the first time in a while last summer.

And this week, confirmation has been received that it will happen again this summer.

“We are delighted to announce that we will be opening the school tennis courts from until August 31, 2024,” the school has stated.

“This is a real step forward in helping to make sure that our school is firmly placed at the heart of our community.

“We are really excited to be able to launch what we hope will be a successful initiative that benefits many of the families in Welshpool and look forward to tennis flourishing in our community.”
