Successful lamb sale

Welshpool Livestock Sales report on another successful catalogued sale of store lambs on November 19 with 1,700 lambs entered and an overall average of £54 realised.

The prize sale was kindly sponsored by Wynnstay, with the task of judging being carried out by Mr Roberts, Rolly Farm.  1st prize was awarded to T E Lewis & Son, Abergwenlas, 2nd prize to K A Jones, Penrhiw, and 3rd prize awarded to  J C Botwood, Gwrid. 

A consistent demand was seen for all types with top prices as follows:
