Company has 100 jobs on offer

A care provider has revealed it has 100 jobs on offer in Welshpool, Newtown and surrounding towns and villages.

Abacare, which has offices in Newtown, provides full and accredited training for full or part time positions in the industry.

Dawn Williams, Head of HR at Abacare, said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer 100 care positions across the area, including Newtown, Welshpool and surrounding towns and villages.

“Our care roles are extremely important ones that benefit the elderly and vulnerable. Carers provide support and assistance to our service users with personal care, washing, dressing, medication administration and domestic work.

“We can offer full and part time contracts as well as mileage and travel time. We also offer full training with our in-house trainer, which includes a company induction, first aid, information on dementia, health and safety, food safety, infection control, handling medication and moving and handling service users.

“We also offer the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF), formerly known as National Vocational Qualifications, to all our team members who show commitment, reliability and true passion. We provide a great support network for all of our carers.”
