A motor dealership’s premises in Welshpool has been placed on the market for £375,000 with commercial agents Halls.

Greenhous Ford’s dealership in Waterloo Place, Welshpool, which the company bought from W. R. Davies last year, is closing and business is being relocated to the company’s site in Pool Road, Newtown.

Halls say the Waterloo Place site, which covers more than half an acre, is suitable for a wide range of trade counter or motor related business uses or residential development, subject to planning consent.

Accessed from Salop Road, the property has a gross internal floor area of 6,272 square feet with a car showroom, offices, vehicle workshop, valeting bay, forecourt area with a display for around 30 cars and further accommodation land

Constructed of a portal framework with profile steel sheet cladding and a glazed showroom, the building has four roller shutter doors to the front which provide access to the workshop.  A detached building with an eaves height of 4.64 metres is currently used for car valeting.
