Steam Mill creates 10 jobs, so far

With an opening night still anticipated for later in the summer, Newtown’s latest night out is looking to recruit up to 10 new weekend bar staff.

Work is continuing on transforming the former Crystals building into The Steam Mill, with its owners promising an opening date soon.

And now the business is advertising its first 10 vacancies which need to be filled ASAP.

“We are looking forward to getting the club open and creating some great nights in Newtown, and hopefully introduce some exciting live bands as well,” said Chris Greatorex, one of the businessmen behind the exciting venture.

“We have made some big changes to the club, with the more noticeable being the removal of the spiral stair case, and the creation of a new entrance to what will be our new cocktail bar.

“We now have a big week ahead of us with a lot of people in working hard to get a lot of jobs finished.”
