Overall trade would be slightly back on last week with prices being similar to other auction market returns from last Thursday/Friday, as trade reduced slightly through the week. Yet again better quality better meated lambs were in strong demand with plenty of pens selling to 200ppkg or above. This was due to the current demand for this type of lamb from Southern Europe, especially Portugal.
