Young farmer to address Europe

Two local young farmers will be representing Wales at a major farming conference this week.
Marc Jones (right), of Trefnant, Berriew, Vice Chair of the Wales Young Farmers Movement will accompany Tom Jones, of Plascoch, Dolanog, who represents Wales on the European Economic and Social Committee, to a hearing in Brussels on the future of European young Farmers.
Marc has been invited to speak on behalf of Wales Young Farmers at a time when measures are required to increase the number of young people into the industry across the European Union.
He will meet other young European leaders as well as receiving a briefing from Welsh Assembly Officials in Brussels.
