New management at Spice Lounge
The Spice Lounge, at the Oak Inn, Guilsfield is under new management, having been taken over by local woman Jessica Regan.
The Indian restaurant is set in the 17th Century country pub The Oak in the village with a five-star food and hygiene rating on both the pub side restaurant side of the business, now one of the highest rated Indian restaurants in a 15 mile radius.
“Each of our dishes is prepared by our experienced Indian chefs, also offering a specials board to give the option of things you might not normally see in every Indian restaurant,” said Jessica.
“Our restaurant has also recently been refurbished giving a relaxed and authentic feel and offers seating of up to 30 people whilst the pub facilitates for other eating areas also, a standard takeaway option is available and orders can be placed by phone.”
The pub has a large car park and beer garden perfect for alfresco dining in the summer months. It also has a separate children’s play area.
“I feel that the potential for a good Indian restaurant in this setting is tremendous and my main aim is to provide great quality, timely food,” Jessica added.
