The launch of www.mywelshpool.co.uk has been a massive success with the site receiving over 33,000 hits in the first week and national and local media following up our stories.

The launch of YOUR hyperlocal site captivated the interest of the media industry's trade press and gained national coverage from day one.

And our exclusive stories have been chased up by the national press with journalists from The Sun and The Metro descending on the area.

Guilsfield Community Council chairman Glyn Turner even featured on Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show when millions heard about our exclusive story about the probelms of horse poo on the village streets.

But the biggest success has been the support from YOU the viewers and readers with hits coming in from all over the world as well as the Welshpool area. The site has been visited from the USA, Czech Repuiblic, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and the Netherlands.
