‘Sterling’ fund raising effort

 

Ross Bevan, Partner, Sterling Mortgage Specialists (below, right) said his team finished seventh out of 34 boats and blamed alcohol for them missing out on a place in the final by two tenths of a second!

 

However, the disappointment was soon forgotten after the money was counted up and handed over to the charity.

 

“This year Sterling Mortgage Specialists wanted to make a difference and raise money for a good cause,” he said: “We decided Severn Hospice was the perfect organisation to help. Severn Hospice care for people affected by progressive and terminal illness. With many local people relying on the support of the Hospice, we thought this was the most appropriate charity to assist.”

 

“The day was a major success with us raising £1,250. A special thank you needs to be given to everyone that made the effort to raise money and awareness. Sterling Mortgage Specialists simply couldn’t have raised this amount of money without everyone helping.
