Calling all tradesmen!

09/09/2010 @ 01:26

No-one could have predicted the incredible impact that mywelshpool would have on the town and its surrounding communities, quite literally overnight. During our first month, between 500-1,000 people have visited the site every day, spending an average of six minutes per visit reading the latest news, sport, business and features from the area.
Local news has never been delivered so instant, accurate and balanced and it hasn’t taken long for the local business sector to take note.
With local newspaper sales sliding across the country and their advertising prices rising, more and more readers are turning to the web for their news and advertisers have followed suit, with latest figures showing on-line global advertising spend is greater than both television and newspapers this year.
And you can benefit too. Already we have welcomed local blue chip companies to our banner ads but in the coming weeks we will be introducing sections so that there is an opportunity for one and all. We are reaching out to the same people that you want to reach. Let us do your marketing for you in the best value-for-money way available.
We have been swamped with requests. So much so that in October we will be introducing a ‘local tradesmen’ section followed by a ‘local food & drink’. The 3,000 individual people that visit our site every week (many returning several times each week, even daily) are all local to the Welshpool area. The same 3,000 people that need plumbers, builders, electricians, garden work, plasterers, painters: in fact any type of tradesman. Not to mention a place to eat, drink or to grab a takeaway from.
We have specially tailored packages offering the best value-for-money advertising there is. For a small amount, you could reach out to the same thousands of local people as us.
You will be a part of our site 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 52 weeks a year. Our site is never off line; it never gets tossed in the bin after one read and doesn’t gather dust in a drawer under the phone. We are new, fresh and leading the change for local news reporting in the community and you, too, can be a part of it.
Interested? If you haven't already heard from our representative contact us, drop us an email on  editor@mywelshpool.co.uk or fill in the contact us enquiry form and we’ll get back to you. We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully providing a boost to your business!
