25/04/2013 @ 11:04

Businesses from throughout the area have been given an insight into the impact of this month's Budget by the Chancellor.

David Morris, an associate with accountants Whittingham Riddell gave a brief outline of the impact on business of Chancellor George Osborneā€™s budget at the latest Powys Business Network meeting.

He stated that the budget had been generally positive towards business, particularly the allowances to incentivise businesses to invest in new plant and equipment. The network aims to encourage trade between businesses in Powys and regularly organises networking events in north and south Powys.

Membership is free and to find out more email: katarina@powys-networking.co.uk; or visit the new website www.powys-networking.co.uk to book places at the Newtown or the Brecon events.
