‘We’re looking for acts’
The free extravaganza will see top notch acts play live at venues across the town, and this year the event will remember the late Ian Scott, a guitarist with the band The Infamous who have played at the festival several times. Ian passed away in September.
“If you would like to play at this year's event, please get in touch at wmfest@ymail.com as we're looking for acts of all genres,” said a festival statement.
“We are very excited that plans for this year's WMF, Ian Scott Remembrance Festival, are on the go!
“Places will be on a first come first served basis, we are expecting a big response this year!”
