‘Great’ expansion at gym

01/09/2017 @ 08:05

Things are getting bigger and better at Great Fitness which has completed another phase of expansion work that will provide more opportunities to get into shape.

To get us all ‘back into it’, personal trainer Chris Greatorex talks us through what’s new and lays down a cheeky challenge.

“It’s September already: the majority of people’s holidays are over and the slight decrease in the consistency of gym members everywhere throughout the summer will now return to normal.

“And we have some good news with some fantastic September gym offers to coincide with the opening of our larger gym area. You can see what we’ve been up to all over our social media pages, and our offers are designed to help people work off those extra holiday calories!

“Our gym expansion now sees us with a much bigger gym with more equipment to add to our current selection, and two fitness studios for both personal training and classes. Our second studio has allowed us to add a Spinning class to our brand new timetable, with our Armoury Spin moving down to Great Fitness and allowing us to create some new exciting classes.

“But we thought we’d start September with one of our fitness challenges. This time we have a 10-day challenge, quite simple but tough at the same time. For the next 10 days, as of today (September 1), we want all of our readers and members to perform the following five exercises just once a day:

·      25 burpees

·      25 press ups

·      25 sit ups

·      25 squat jumps

·      25 alternate lunges

“Send us videos or photos to our Great Fitness Facebook page so we can check out your progress. We see it as a great way to kick start your fitness routine if you’ve been struggling with motivation during this part of the year. Then once you’ve completed the 10-day challenge come and see us at Great Fitness and see our expansion, gym offers and what could be your next challenge.

“As always, you can call us on 01938 559007 to speak to either me or Charlie about memberships, personal training or any other query you may have.”
