Raising cash for Cancer Research

Members of the Welshpool branch of the Friends of Cancer Research UK are planning a busy November.

Fund raising activities start on Saturday, November 18 with a “Bag A Bargain” Coffee Morning in the Corn Exchanges of the Town Hall. The event is scheduled to start at 9am.

And on Thursday, November 23 there will be a quiz at Welshpool Bowling Club for teams of up to four members at a cost of £4. There’s a first prize of £50 up fr grabs and there will be a raffle and refreshments.

The event starts at 7-30pm and teams are asked to register ahead of the event with Anne on 01938 53818 or Val on 01938 535000.
