Football Festival a success

The fifth annual Andrew Lloyd Football Festival & Fun Day was a huge success at Forden on Saturday with 34 teams in action, 224 matches and 402 goals.

This year’s event was one of the biggest yet with Panic Circus, Woodland pack Company, and Mid Wales Bouncy Castles amongst the team keeping the children happy alongside the football.

Walking football was seen for the first time this year, thanks to Craig Edwards of Soccerholics and Lorraine Lloyd with the National Exercise Referral Scheme at The Flash Leisure Centre.

As always there was some excellent football played with all teams playing at least 7 games in the group stages. A cracking final n Mange Tout (Forden) lose 2-0 to Gangstas Allerdyce (Minsterly.
