Welshpool video from 1982

A 36 year old video of a broadcast from St Mary’s Church in Welshpool has created massive local interest on Facebook this week.

BBC Songs of Praise featured Welshpool and a service at the church back in 1982 and this week someone shared a recording on the social media site.

The film features many well known faces from years gone by in Welshpool and you may even spot yourself or family members
