From catwalk to community

A 16-year-old Welshpool girl is hoping to become a community ambassador after competing in the Britain’s Junior Miss final.

Molly Robinson Harding missed out on the title at Bolton Albert Halls, but her new found confidence through entering the competition has already seen her raise money for charity, and she is now planning on events and activities to raise even more.

This national competition is all about developing young women’s confidence, and supporting teens in their journey to become strong, independent adults.

“I attended the Britain’s Junior Miss finals after becoming the Junior Miss Welshpool earlier this year,” Molly told us.

“It was just such an incredible experience. I met so many new friends and made incredible memories. I have also raised over £150 for the charity, Variety, and I am looking to raise so much more.

“I would love to help any other charities and would also like to organise a major event in Welshpool.”

Molly (pictured) is sponsored by My Wardrobe by Teresa Jayne and says that as well as the yet-to-be-announced event to raise money for charity, she will be doing a sponsored zip wire ride in Zip World.
