Transport Festival confirmed for 2019

Following the warm reception to this year’s revamped Welshpool Transport Festival, organisers have released the date for 2019.

With the Air Show falling by the wayside, the Transport Festival has stepped forward and proved popular this summer, with decent crowds enjoying good weather and a lively assortment of activities and participants.

“The Welshpool Transport Festival will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019,” said a spokesperson. “The event will include steam trains, canal and water activities, vehicles of all ages, traction engines, horses, cycles - in fact anything to do with how we get around.”

A vintage bus will also be moving around the town, and more details on the event will be released over the coming months.
