Where do you want Welshpool’s new bus station located?

The people of Welshpool will choose where the town’s new bus station should be located.

Funding has been secured by the town which will benefit from the new hub that will encourage thousands of more tourists to stop in the town every year.

But debate has rumbled on at the Town Council with several views expressed, and now the townsfolk can have their say.

There are three locations on the table - Berriew Street, Church Street and Broad Street (by Andrew’s Chip Shop) – with a survey available at the Tourist Information Centre to be filled in.

“Votes must be returned no later than Friday, January 4, 2019,” said a Town Council spokesperson.

Anyone is able complete the survey.
