Happy 10th for “vital” charity shop
It has become a much loved shop in Llanfyllin since opening in 2009, with Deputy Mayor of Llanfyllin, Cllr Tracey Windsor, praising the work of the volunteer staff and drivers as well as the community for showing their support.
“Let's admit it, we all love a bargain don't we?” she said. “The shop is a great social hub for so many people and it has become extremely beneficial to those, especially the elderly people of the community, who no longer drive and also for those who don't have a car or a driver's licence. It is such a vital amenity to our community.
“Thank you again to all involved for your kindness in giving your time to help run the shop and we look forward to another very successful 10 years!"
