Social group for visually impaired

30/08/2019 @ 10:14

A friendly open group is operating in the Welshpool area to provide peer to peer support to others living with a visual impairment, to aid in their independence, reduce isolation and have lots of laughs.

The group meets every month in the Royal Oak and targets those aged between 20-45.

“We are a friendly open group that meet informally every month to share experiences, ideas and socialise with other like minded people,” said Richard Zimbler, RNIB Connect Lead Volunteer Welshpool, who can be reached on 07791428302 for details of the next meeting.

Alternatively, you can contact Gemma Jones, RNIB Community Facilitator Mid and West Wales, on 07768503050 or gemma.jones@rnib.org.uk.
