Countdown to Montgomery magical moments

With less than two weeks to go, Montgomery is busy preparing for its Christmas festival which is taking place on Saturday, November 30. 

The street and indoor market will commence at 2pm and continue through to 8pm. There will be a selection of seasonal goodies and gifts on offer ranging from craft beers, wooden giftware, artisan breads, glassware, jewellery, festive stationery, local artwork, craft and much more.

Local musicians will provide entertainment at intervals throughout the day and a selection of street food will be available. 

“Visit the town to see Santa and his elves parade down Broad Street at 5.45pm in time to switch on the Christmas lights at 6pm, to make Montgomery glisten like jewels once again,” said a spokesperson. 

The service buses will travel to Montgomery as usual (route 558 and T12) providing another opportunity for people to visit rather than driving.

Shelter will be provided at various points in the town to make this an all-weather event.
