Fundraisers are being hastily organised to support the two-year-old daughter of a Welshpool woman who was diagnosed on Christmas day with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.

Aria Lee Hawley lives in Australia with parents Stephanie Howard and Josh Hawley and her sad news has hit home hard with Welshpool friends pulling together to organise a number of fundraisers.

As previously reported, a clothes sale is being organised and it has now been confirmed that it will be held at the town’s Bowling Club on Saturday, February 15, from 7pm.

Clothes can be dropped off at The Talbot, in town, with all proceeds going to help the family during their tough battle ahead. There will also be a raffle with donated prizes also being accepted.

Stephanie’s brother, Ben (pictured), who admits to “being known as the guy with the massive beard and not being a fan of being hairless” will be taking the lot off by braving the shave on March 1.

Meanwhile, a prize bingo will be held at the town hall’s Corn Exchange on Friday, January 31. Doors open at 6pm with eyes down for the first game at 7pm. Refreshments will be available during the halftime break with all welcome to attend.

You can donate money through the overall Go Fund Me page by clicking here.
