A helping hand

Two local creative women have joined forces to offer a fantastic marketing boost to a small local business that has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Creative designer and brand expert, Ceri Ryder, and photographer, Vix Davies, have teamed up to run a competition that gives local small businesses the opportunity for a fresh start in 2021.

The pair have pooled their expertise to provide free branding and a business photoshoot to one local business that has been affected.

“I have been very fortunate over the course of this year to remain working, but there are so many people I know that have had to stop work completely with no guarantee of when things will get better,” said Ceri, whose business is called Ceri Ryder Creative.

“We have such an amazing local community and I want to see it thrive. I want to do something that will really make a difference to a small, local business and help them to make an impact in the new year.”

Vix, of Pix by Vix, added that “starting a new business during lockdown was a struggle but something I have been very passionate about”.

“As a creative and artist, being able to market and get my name out there has been hard,” she said. “But I want to give back to a small business within our amazing community to help them get back on track. Having professional headshots is key to growing your business especially online as customers want to buy from real people and want to get to know you.”

Any small business from the area can enter, with the ladies picking their winner based on the struggles that they share and the reasons why they deserve it.
