Balloon festival over Welshpool

Many Welshpool residents woke with stiff necks this morning after spending the day craning to the skies above the town yesterday as scores of hot air balloons flew over.
The balloons were all part of a Powis Castle event offering enthusiasts the opportunity to see some beautiful hot air ballons in flight and there will be more of the same again today as the town basks in glorious October sunshine.
And weather permitting there will be more balloons in the skies next weekend.
Many readers have been sending us pictures or posting on Facebook.
