Last minute rush is a beauty

Christmas will come too soon for many shoppers in the Welshpool area who are heading out for last minute panic buying.

The weather has knocked the delivery services for six with many items now unexpected to reach their destinations in time.

But it is the upsurge in demand for beauty vouchers which will surprise many as, despite the cold snap, Welshpool residents seem to be concerned about how they look – or at least how their partners look!

“We’ve noticed a big increase in customers coming through the door to buy gift vouchers,” said PureBeauty’s Sarah Rowlands. “They are coming in with the same complaint that expected gifts just haven’t arrived so they are buying vouchers which can be used for any treatment that their partners, friends or family want at a future date.”
