R&D Design Engineer 

Stashed Products is a manufacturer and supplier of innovate bike storage systems.

This is a new role created due to a sustained increase in worldwide orders and a need to improve production efficiency and capacity and develop new products, working closely with the Technical Director.

A broad role with multiple responsibilities in various areas that is intended to lead to a senior position over time and development of a team of designers and engineers.

You will be involved with the research, design and production of new products to expand our range of bike storage products and help to test and prove concepts.

You will also provide resource to the engineering and assembly department to improve areas such as quality control, production processes, tooling and assembly efficiency.

From designing new products, to production drawings, to inspecting components, to design and build of promotional items - a unique multifaceted role that will be challenging, fast paced and require an adaptive skill set.

Remuneration and Benefits

Salary of £25,000-£35,000, working 37.5 hours per week.  

Monday – Thursday / 08:15-17:00, Friday / 08:15-14:00

The role is based in Abermule, Mid Wales, but there is the possibility for remote working after an initial period.

There is an expectation for travelling within the UK to see suppliers and possibly internationally for trade shows and events.

The ideal candidate will be full of energy, punctual, tidy, seriously passionate about cycling and be a great engineer that solves problems! Every day will be different, and the ideal person needs to be very self-directed, and generate their own work structure without external guidance.
