‘Anti-social’ public meeting

08/06/2016 @ 09:30

A meeting to target anti-social behaviour that was previously cancelled will now take place on June 20.

As part of the town’s strategy to clamp down on unruly behavior, the town council has invited the main concerned bodies including the local police force and Powys County Council to join them in hearing concerns from members of the public.

Recently the council announced a raft of measures to tackle the issue, including a help line and a log book to record incidents and identify trouble spots.

“The public meeting will be held on Monday, June 20 from 7pm in the Assembly Rooms  at the Town Hall,” said Town Clerk, Robert Robinson.

“The subject is to discuss experiences and views with regards to antisocial behaviour and what actions can be taken, if necessary, to help control this in support of the Police. All are welcome.”
