Employees and clients from Great Escape and Fitness raised plenty of money for charity by getting down and dirty.
Great Escape and Fitness pulled together a team to compete in the Chester Tough Mudder and raised £1,385 for the Wales Air Ambulance and £1,385 for Sports Relief.
The final line up included Steve Evans, Alix Davies, Larna Andrew, Matthew Harriers, Lyndsey Jones, Lee Evans, Grace Powell, Beth Williams, Katie Ellis, Toby Hodgson, Hannah Barrett, Chris Greatorex, Stacey Greatorex, Rebecca Morgan, Beth Evans, Irus Groenevald, David Shaw, Richard Lewis, Claire Crowther and Stephen Crowther.
“The course was 11.2 miles long and something like 36 obstacles including electrocution, muddy swamps and an ice cold skip,” said Chris Greatorex from Great Escape and Fitness.
“Our next aim is to do the Hope House 72-mile charity bike ride and a three-peaks challenge at the end of summer. Booking goals is a great way to train to have something to work towards and keep you motivated. We used our Greatfit circuit class Thursday 6-7pm to help get ready for Tough Mudder along with plenty of gym work at great fitness to get ready.”
