It’s the final couple of days to view an exhibition which has captured the history of football in the town.

Powysland Museum has hosted the exhibition to celebrate Wales playing in their first major finals since 1958, and it has attracted big interest from the town and beyond.

But it will come to an end on Saturday, the same day that Wales meet Northern Ireland in the last 16 game in Paris.

The exhibition centres around the town’s two clubs – Welshpool Town and Waterloo Rovers – as well as local youth football, school football and ladies football.

The exhibition consists of objects, photographs and various memorabilia kindly lent to the museum by local people following appeals through MyWelshpool.

Opening hours are Weekdays: 10.30am-1pm & 2-5pm; Saturday 10.30am-3pm.
