Guilsfield got their act back together to secure three points in the Huws Gray Alliance League – but there was more disappointment for Welshpool.
The Guils enjoyed a 1-0 win at Gresford but Pool went down 2-0 to Llanidloes in the Spar Mid Wales League, despite an improved performance. Llanfair held Gresford to a 0-0 draw.
Llanfair secured a Huws Gray Alliance point in a nail biting 0-0 draw at Flint, while in the Spar Mid Wales League Llanidloes proved too strong for Welshpool with a 2-0 win.
