Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn has pledged to use his new position to fight for the best possible police air service for Dyfed-Powys.
The Commissioner has just become a member of the NPAS national board for the south west region, giving Dyfed-Powys a voice at the table.
Mr Llywelyn, elected in May vowed to fight for the best possible services throughout his four-year term, with the air service being a priority.
“I want to positively influence NPAS and to contribute to the development of the air support service,” he said.
“Across an area as vast as ours, the ability to support front-line policing from above is invaluable.”
Dyfed-Powys joined NPAS in January 2016.
