‘The Cross’ set for two weeks of work

 

Mid Wales motorists are being warned that they may face delays while travelling through Welshpool as result of essential road works.

 

As part of the on-going highway works for the new Tesco store in the town alterations to the configuration of the traffic signals at The Cross will start on Sunday, February 6.

 

A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: “The works are scheduled to last for two weeks and during this time the signals will be modified to allow ducts to be installed along Severn Road and Berriew Street.
