Local brothers Morgan, 16, and Dan Jones (right), 20, are continuing to make their mark in the pool following a brilliant year.
The capped it off with a memorable Welsh National Short Course Championships where both clocked new personal bests in all their events.
Morgan is now Welsh National Champion in three events for the 15/16 age group on his way to two bronze medals and a fourth place, while Dan achieved three silvers in the 17 and over age.
Earlier in the year Morgan was in the top 25 swimmers in Britain for his age after achieving six gold medals out of six events in the Midland Championships to be invited to the British National Championships. Dan also competed at the same Championships and brought home two British National medals.
Other big achievements this year included Morgan (right) being selected for Wales in the UK School Games held at Loughborough University.
Looking ahead, Dan has a vital 12 months as he continues to train full time with the Welsh Squad and Swansea Aquatics. He is currently on track to reaching his target of being selected for the Commonwealth Squad and will be off to Australia in January for an intense training camp before heading back home for British Championships in April.
“I would like to say a big thank-you to Rikki Lloyd Butchers for his continued sponsorship and to Rambo and Chris at Best Kebab for their support also,” he said.
