‘On the road to Mandalay’

The first 2017 meeting meeting of NADFAS (National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies) will take place on January 26 at 2.30pm.

The speaker is Zara Fleming, whose topic will be On The Road To Mandalay covering the early history of Burma and the adoption of Buddhism during the Pyu Dynasty (2nd-9th century) which inspired their rich artistic tradition.

It will take place in the Royal Oak Hotel and visitors are welcome. No need to book a seat, but a donation of £5 per person is requested to help cover costs.
